 | This is a thumbnail sized Red Beryl. The Red Beryl crystal has popped out of the matrix while trimming. The two pieces could be kept separate or the Red Beryl could be glued back into the matrix with a little Elmer's glue. I kept them separate to photograph. The Beryl is single teminated with the unterminated end was in the matrix that way. The Red Beryl crystal is half formed with the back half grown as part of the Rhyolite matrix with no faces. |
