| These were collected this year from a relatively small pocket now totally collected. The Minnie Moore Mine evidently is connected to the Colorado Mine. Mindat lists minerals at the Colorado as Baryte, Calamine, Cerussite, Galena, Geocronite, Jarosite, Pharmacosiderite, Quartz, Scorodite, Smithsonite, and Sphalerite. The only photo is of Jarosite. No analysis was done but there is Limonite and Goethite at the Mine even though not listed in Mindat. This one at first looks like Quartz but I believe they are actually Calcite with bladed Baryte which is then coated with grey Goethite and yellow brown Limonite. This specimen looks to be damage free. Tintic specimens seem to be rather scarce. |
