12dhjdis ((BOTRYOIDAL FLUORITE, MONTMORILLONITE)), $10 MINIMUM BID, Lost Sheep Mine, Purple Pit, Spor Mountain, Juab County, Utah, 9 x 5.5 x 3 cm, Cabinet, | |
These were collected this year from the Lost Sheep Mine. The botryoidal Fluorite is multicolored with dark purple almost black and a lighter greenish purple. This is one of the more attractive specimens. It is on a contrasting white to pinkish soft matrix, probably Montmorillonite. No photos on mindat. One photo on the Fluorite on mindat say Thomas Range which is probably mislabeled or perhaps found when a collector left a specimen at Topaz mountain? |
