 | Here is a thumbnail of the rare yellow straw like mineral Holfertite. It is associated with Quartz, Topaz, and Hematite. This specimen has a Hematite cystal with a yellow Holfertite on it. The specimen also has a light sherry colored Topaz cluster on a bed of micro Quartz crystals. I CAN NOT SEE THIS WITHOUT A LOOP. The photo does readily show the Holfertite. Angain you need a loop to see it on the actual specimen. HOLFERITE is a Ca-U-Ti hydrated oxide/hydroxide. |
