07hhora ((CALCITE, CERUSSITE? )), $10 MINIMUM BID, Cave Mine, Bradshaw District, Mineral Mts, Beaver County, Utah, 7 x 4 x 2 cm, Cabinet | |
Here is a specimen from a Utah locality not usually on the market. It has white opaque Calcite crystals and sprays of colorless to white needles that could be cerussite or Hemimorphite. Hemimorphite is not listed as an occurance and so probably Cerussite. These were collected over 30 years ago by Otto Reiter, a local self collector of Utah, Nevada, Idaho localities. I only have a small half flat of specimens acquired from his estate auction several years ago. |
