_small.jpg) | Hughesite was just identified as a new Pascoite family species in 2014 with West Sunday Mine as the Type Locality. This specimen probably came from Joe Marty many years prior to 2014. Mindat does not show Pascoite family specimens from this locality but does have several Hughesite specimens. Although Dana's specimen label says Pascoite, I suspect that it is an early specimen pre discovery as the new species of Hughesite just labeled as Pascoite. ex Dana Wilson MD collection #945. |
