5hhshar ((MIXITE)),  $35 MINIMUM BID, Northern Spy Mine, Tintic District, Juab County, Utah, 14 x 9 x 4.5 cm, Cabinet

Here is a large cabinet sized specimen of a micro crystal. Mixite is an uncommon robin egg blue crystal made up of small sphericules of acicular crystals. They look like small fuzzy spheres. A small lot of these were collected by a local field collectors 15 to 20 years ago and purchased by me at that time. I run into a specimen or two in my miscellaneous stock but I do not think many if any are left. The lower left of this larger than normal specimen has many of the fuzzy spheres of Mixite.
