_small.jpg) | Here is a large specimen of Halite with hoppered cubic Halite to 2.5 cm. Older material from the find about 2007. It has a light yellow orange color. Most of this find was dipped in a sealant to protect against humidity. I am pretty sure this one was one protected. You cannot tell that the sealant is on. It does not change the look or luster. They are dipped rather than the sealant sprayed on which changes the look and does not last. |
