Main terminated Quartz crystal is odd. It is a smaller Quartz crystal with half the smaller crystal has half of a larger crystal grown over the smaller crystal. The photos shown it with a higher termination on half the crystal and a shorter termination on the other half. It is almost like the smaller is a phantom inside the larger crystal.
