 | Large specimen of Topaz Mountain Rhyolite with a vuggy area in the center covered with small Quartz crystals. In the vug are several Pseudobrookite sprays and crystals. One spray is very fine totally undamaged terminated Pseudobrookite crystals to about 5 or 7 MM. One thin needle of Pseudobrookite is about 13 MM in length attached to the Rhyolite at each end of the crystal. I have never seen specimens this large on the market. Pseudobrookite specimens are normally non matrix thumbnail specimens. |
