1600422hhdwlnnr.is   ((QUARTZ, BARITE, FLUORITE)),  $30 MINIMUM BID,  Deer Trail Mine, Piute County, Utah,  18 x 8 x 6 cm, Large Cabinet

Here is a floater with not attachment of short terminated Quartz coated with brown Limonite.  There are a couple of white bladed Barite clusters and 5 cubic Fluorite cystals to 5 MM.  Undamaged except for the Barite clusters.  This is the typical Quartz that seems to cover all specimens.  Specimens of the classic cuboctahedral sea green Fluorite crystals are covered with the Quartz crystals covered by the brown Limonite.  The Quartz is typically dissolved with HF to produce the Fluorite specimens.  Specimens like this one with cubic Fluorite, Barite, and the intact Quartz are uncommon.  Mindat has only one photo of this type and 23 fluorite photos of the typical cuboctahedral Fluorite.
