 | This was a Collector's Edge specimen. It's a large terminated Tourmaline with the termination of a second Tourmaline attached behind and near the base. The color is a gemmy greyish blue grading into pinkish magenta at the termination. The pinkish magenta is also in the core of the Tourmaline near the base. You must look very hard to see the repair. Its about 3 cm from the top and has been cleanly repaired and it not noticeable. Many if not most of Collector's edge Tourmalines from this pocket have been repaired, some in multiple areas. This pocket was purchased entirely from the mines by Collector's Edge. |
