 | After three years of misplacing my UV light, I finally came across it at the only place I did not look for it, under my desk! I am anxious to practice taking some fluorescent photos, I am out of practice! One photo is as taken with the other being auto adjusted. These are probably better in person. I did not take the non UV photos but will describe. Here is a Calcite with nice cleaved faces from rhombic cleavage planes and small black sparse pepper spots of Franklinite. Red orange Calcite Fluorescense at the top but missing elsewhere. I think Odgensburg Calcite is not as brilliantly fluorescent as Franklin Calcite. |
