 | After three years of misplacing my UV light, I finally came across it at the only place I did not look for it, under my desk! I am anxious to practice taking some fluorescent photos, I am out of practice! One photo is as taken with the other being auto adjusted. These are probably better in person. I did not take the non UV photos but will describe. Here is a Calcite with nice cleaved faces from rhombic cleavage planes. I think Odgensburg Calcite is not fluorescent as Franklin Calcite. It has minor Andradite and Franklinite and fluorescent green Willemite. It also has another species which is fluorescent as seen in the center of the specimen. |
