6hlkmis  ((BYSSOLITE, ADULARIA)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Keystone Trap Rock Quarry, Cornog, Chester County, Pennsylvania, 7 x 5 x 3 cm, Cabinet

Here is a classic Pennsylvania specimen and locality. It is a water filled quarry now for many years. This is an old specimen from the Rick Hafer collection. I was able to purchase much of the collection from this locality. I have never been to the locality but 2017 on the West Springfield and Lebanon show trip, I am planning to visit it and snap a few photos. This specimen has fine double terminated Adularia crystals twinned and non twinned covered with fine needles of hairlike Byssolite. Brown is from the decomposing Pyrite to Goethite leaving a rust like stain. ex Rick Hafer collection.
