 | Beautiful twinned Cinnabar crystal resembling a drill. NOTE the label says could be constructed. It was well known that the Chinese glued loose Cinnabar crystals to matrix Dolomite. I have one and it is not hard to tell. This is not being done as much today as it used to be done. With this particular specimen I can not tell one way or the other. Either way it still is a very nice twinned Cinnabar crystal. But it is suspect as not originating on the matrix. ex Ernie Schlichter. |
