21hhdw.is ((TOPAZ, HEMATITE, maybe HOLFERTITE)), $20 MINIMUM BID, Starvation ie Searle Canyon, Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah,  6 x 6 x 2 cm, Miniature

Double terminated 1 cm Topaz crystal with lots of small flat lustrous Hematite crystals on the matrix and on the Topaz crystal. Label and collected by Phil Richardson with his label which says New Mineral yellow acicular unknown. This is Holfertite a straw lke yellow Uranium species from small to very small. I has since been discribed and a valid new species since this specimen was collected. However I looked with a 5x loop and I could not find a yellow straw like crystal of Holfertite. I do not know if it is present or came off over the years. But the matix is typical of the matix containing Holfertite. The yellow crystal is sometines on Hematite, on Topaz, or just on the Rhyolite matrix. ex Dana Wilson collection 817, ex Phil Richardson collection.
