_small.jpg) | Fossil Snail with the inside replaced with Pyrite. I guess the Snail was an interior decorator. Russia has ammonites that are fairly common at shows that are pyritized with Pyrite crystals lining the inside chambers. I never noticed whether there were also snails present from Russia. ex Dana Wilson collection. |
