 | Here is a large cluster of Utah Topaz from the Thomas Range. There is a 3 cm double terminated crystal and many terminated crystals of Topaz. This was from the excavations of the Maynard claim 2 to 3 years ago by Collectors Edge with heavy equipment at considerable expense. All crystals undamaged and terminated except three. The largest cleave is the base of the largest crystal which makes the base when displaying. The cleaved area has the blue mintack showing on the smaller photo and side view photo on the right side. Likewise a smaller crystal is cleaved forming a base also pointing down on the upright photo. The third is lower center on the upright photo seen as a lighter area in the photo. |
