 | Here is about 12 specimens from 3.5 to 10 cm in size from Starvation Canyou. NOTE OTHER PIECES ARE NOT SHOWN. The box said Holfertite which is a small yellow crystal that look like small pieces of straw. To see these you need to at least use a loop and could also use a microscope. I looped these pieces and found the largest one with two small crystal which I marked with the white arrows. So the others are unknowns as to whether or not Holfertite is present. It is the right rock and there are many single crystals of Hematite. This is probably a good micro species but has always been too small for myself. Camera did pick up the shot even though I could not see it without a loop. |
