 | Oxidized coating on undamaged Chalcopyrite crystals on small terminated Quartz crystals. A Couple of micro dings on the Chalcopyrite show the yellow brassy color of Chalcopyrite. Historic Park City is a classic U S location. However most specimens only say Park City and the mine in not known. These came from the mine geologist's widow and so the actual mine is known. I got a few last year and was able to purchase the rest this year at the Butte, Montana show from a dealer friend of the former geologist. |
