Natural fern fossil with the fern replaced by white Pyrophillite which contrasts with the dark grey shale. This is an unusual specimen with an uncommon seed pod. idicnmsg ieA old reference specimen collected by Otto Reiter, a Salt Lake field collector in the 50's thru the 80's.
