_small.jpg) | I have not seen these previously or even heard of these existing previously. Evidently they is a bridge or sturcture on the Compass Minerals property the gets wet from the Great Salt Lake and Stalactites of the Halite from the Great Salt Lake formed Stalactites instead of crystalized Halite crystals. I got a few of these in the collection of specimens. This is one of the largest. One is a big larger and has two stalactites grown together. This seems to be an unique or at least limited available addition for an Utah collection. It is from a small local collection just acquired a small local collection. |
