 | At the recent Butte show, I was fortunate in picking up some examples of local specimen. Butte is highly collectable and becoming more and more only available out of collections. This is the REAL peacock ore, actual Bornite. The specimens you usually see called peacock ore or Bornite are actually acid treated Chalopyrite from Mexico sold bulk by the kilo to rock shops across the nation. |
