4941 97idlliee   ((MALACHITE pseudomorph after AZURITE)), $100 MINIMUM BID, Seabra, Bahia, Brazil, 8.5 x 6 x 3.5 cm, Cabinet

Copper Carbonates of Malachite and Azurite are rare from Brazil. Mineral collections were amazed when these showed up in 1997 for the first time from Brazil. This one was purchased from Luis Leite in 1997 when they first appeared. I paid between $100 and $200 for a few of these at that time. This I believe is the only one left from my show stock. This one looks like a floater without any attachment and is in great shape. No damage. The one green sphere in the bottom most right edge is missing the top but is not new damage and looks like it was collected this way. It does not hurt the value as can bee seen in the photos and close up. They are seldem seen available for sale with the supply drying up many years ago
