Here are undamaged Calcite crystals on small Quartz crystals covering the matrix. These Calcite fluoresce red orange under short wave. It is most uncommon to have an undamaged Calcite specimen and also uncommon to have separate crystals from this locality. These are usually covered with chipped and dinged Calcite but can have Scheelite under the Calcite and so the Calcite are removed with HCl. This one does not have Scheelite but is a great Calcite specimen from the locality. |
