5btjktr  ((CALCITE STALACTITE)),   $30 MINIMUM BID, Southwest Mine, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona,   17.5 x 3 x 2 cm, Cabinet

Here is a strange specimen in that it is or appears to be a double terminated floater. I do not know how is formed without being attached to the ceiling of the cave. Perhaps attached at one time and then the attachment continued to crystalize after be separated from the ceiling. The tip seems to be missing the white opague Calcite coating but looks crystalized. If unattached and fell, it should be in pieces from the fall. No damage and collected in 2004 from Bisbee's Southwest Mine from a large cavern within the mine.
