8dgrris ((SILVER)), $10 MINIMUM BID, Quincy Mine, Hancock, Houghton County, Michigan, 4.5 x 2.5 x .5 cm

This lots like a classic halfbreed of Silver and Copper but it does not have any Copper. This belonged to a worker at the Quincy Mine and several other specimens were labeled Quincy and so this also may be from the Quincy Mine. The silver colored area had mintack which hindered the oxidation. The nugget could be cleaned or left with the dark patina.
