 | Here is a Deer Trail Fluorite specimen. These have pastel green cubo octahedral Fluorite crystals covered with a Quartz druze. On most specimens the Quartz is removed with HF, a dangerous acid. Only a few specimens have the micro Quartz druze coating. ex Jim Wilson and collected by Jim Wilson around 1991. Jim Willson wrote a book on mineral localities in Utah and also discovered the mineral Gillulyite. |
