_small.jpg) | I am a bit puzzled on this one. Looping I think both crystals are the same species. They are odd for Aquamarine and I thought that the smaller was a Topaz. But Collectors Edge label just mentions Aquamarine with a price of $150 from 15 years ago. Crystals are transparent with the larger slightly blue tinted. I would think Collectors Edge should know and they may be both Aquamarine/Goshenite Beryls and not Topaz what I originally thought. Smokey Quarts are dark and terminated with what looks to be healed contacts on the back side. ex Collectors Edge specimen with label. |
