 | These were purchased from Collector's Edge with the locality and Barite on the label. Looking at the specimen and mindat photos it is actually a core of Quartz with some vugs lined with Quartz. The specimen is then covered with colorless Fluorite looking some what botryoidal on the macro. Magnification shows cubic Fluorite crystals with rounded modified edges. On the Fluorite is the somewhat sparse golden yellow blocky Baryte crystals. |
