 | Here is a Utah Pyrite from a rare location. Not many specimens have ever been collected from here. I bought about a flat of these, the private stash of a well known local self collector. I never seen them priviously. This was probably 3 or 4 years ago. I have not put them out very often. This on does not have the usual mirrow luster but has a combination of matte luster and a red brown patina or coating. Undamaged except for a corner or this unusual shaped Pyrite that acts as a base for display. |
