 | Copper localities are rare east of the Mississippi River. Adams County is one such locality in Pennsylvania. These are from an old accumulation of specimens I was able to buy back east several years ago. This specimen has a matrix of the greenstone, a serpentine, that was actually mined for its industrial uses such as in the production of shingles. |
