 | Here is a Quartz from the Pennsylvania Pyromorphite locality. It has a plate of undamaged terminated Quartz with a single green spray of Pyromorphite crystals. These were collected about 10 years ago off the dumps. Unlike mine dumps out west which are exposed, eastern dumps are covered with vegetation and trees making rockhounding and collecting extra challenging and difficult. Poisonous snakes are a usually remote but possible problem in both the west and the east. |
