 | Hexagonal tabular gemmy Red Beryl on a terminated Topaz crystal. Red Beryl is 3 mm across. Most of these small Red Beryl crystals are heavily included by the sand or Rhyolite making them not suitable for collections. Half of this small crystal is gemmy and half appears to have some inclusions. The Topaz is heavily included and is also colorless. Still it is a Red Beryl on Topaz which is uncommon to find. This is alos a nice thumbnail example of an uncommon ocurrance even though the Red Beryl is small. Most of collectors lucky enough to find a Red Beryl on Topaz cherishes them and won't ever part with them (unless they can retire from the sale!). |
