14hhceis ((GYPSUM)), $10 MINIMUM BID, Great Salt Lake, Tooele County, Utah, 10 x 8 x 4 cm, Cabinet | |
These Gypsums are normally one flat twinned and sometimes non twinned crystals found and dug on the edges of the Great Salt Lake. I have been told there is one small area that produces these clusters. The diamond shaped crystals are actually Gypsum twinned crystals. Untwinned crystals have twin parallel sides with the ends having two sides coming to a point similiar in shape to a Stilbite crystal. |
