05btml.tr ((FLUORITE, ARSENOPYRITE, MUSCOVITE)), $30 MINIMUM BID, Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan Province, China, 9.5 x 9 x 6 cm, Cabinet

Cabinet specimen with a large purple lustrous cubic Fluorite crystal, minor cluster of lustrous Arsenopyite, on a matrix of white Muscovite mica. This specimen was imported from China by Fine Minerals International in 2004 and sold in a large tent at Tuscon. At the end of the show a dealer friend of mine bought what was left and I bought about a third of that large lot. This one has a possibility that the Fluorite has been repaired by placing it back on the rest of the matrix. I do not see any glue to confirm. So its just the look. Some of the matrix has been removed from the one side of the Fluorite crystal leaving some still attached or included in the Fluorite
