 | The Hidden Treasure Mine specimens were collected about 1991 by Jim Wilson. Here is a cute specimen of botryoidal looking robin egg blue Aurichalcite with a velvety texture. Looping shows that this looks like Aurichalcite. The darker blue areas look like the typical color of Rosasite. I have not seen Aurichalcite with this color. This may be a combination of Rosasite/ Aurichalcite. Perhaps a zoning of the Aurichalcite into Rosasite. Not sure. ex Jim Wilson. |
