7fgcde ((WULFENITE)), near Urumqui, Kuruktag Mountains, Xinjiang Uygur Region, Northern China, 6 x 2 x 2 cm, Miniature

These are the new Chinese Wulfenites and are usually pricey. But this one has very small crystals which are about 1 mm across. The crystals are a red orange similiar to some of the Morocco Vanadinites. Without magnification it appears undamaged but with magnification there may or may not be some very minor damage to a few crystals. I came across the dealer that I got the one from in Denver. Anything large had big prices for lots of damage. I was able to get a few small pieces without damage for the most part. This one has the smaller crystals and is the only one with these 1 mm crystals.
