Holfertite is a small yellow straw like Uranium mineral species that was an unknown for decades and finally was described about 10 plus years ago and was named Holfertite after John Holfert. Black platey Hematite crystals are also present. Easily seen with a loop in a small vug containing Hematite and the yellow straw like Holfertite crystal. ex John Holfert collection.
