 | Here is a lustrous blocky cluster of Calcite from India. It has a crack as seen in the first photo. I do not see any glue and the alignment is perfect but there is some micro chipping about the crack and I can follow the crack pretty much all around. So I'm 50-50 or a little better that it is repaired. It is not seen with normal display since the light must fall perfectly to see it or it must be looped or use an optivisor. So I put the minimum bid low because of it. Old material from 1999 from old case stock with a price of $325. I just came across the box with a variety of great Indian miniatures from old stock and some duplicates from my Indian collection. |
