 | NOTE that color is whiter than the photo suggests. Here is an undamaged rare Fish Tail Twinned Calcite from the Buffalo Tunnel. It has a white secondary Calcite over the a primary grey Calcite crystal with a translucent colorless core. A couple of these were collected by a local Salt Lake collector 30 to 40 years ago. I do not expect that these will ever be found again. I have two of these I am keeping for my Utah collection. I have sold the smaller two without the white Calcite secondary coating 10 years or more ago. |
