Label from Thames Valley Minerals says Hematite and Rutile. I am thinking the the side ways crystals of Hematite were mistaken for striated Rutile and the flat plates were the Hematite. I think they are the same other than the orientation of the crystals. I do not see any Rutile. ex Dana Wilson MD Collection.
