_small.jpg) | Here is a larger terminated Quartz crystal with a chip on the left side face of the Quartz at the mid point on the crystal. On the same left side there is an internal bruise on the termination again on the left side face but the crystal face is undamaged and reflects light showing no outside damage.. Part of the coating is missing around the mid point chip. But Svanbergite is a rare species with square crystals to 4 MM and the coating is also loaded with small Topaz crystals 3 to 5 MM in length and thin, lustrous and catch the light as seen in the photos. The Svanbergite crystals are cubic and sharp and also reflect the light but the photo was taken without the light reflecting to see the color better. |
