Rare large specimen from Classic Pennsylvania locality which is now a water filled quarry hole. This was collected over 50 years again from a classic Alpine Cleft fomation typical in the formation of the Alps in Europe but in Pennsylvania. Acicular and wispy Byssolite with Adularia terminated and double terminated and twinned crysals. There is a mound of white jackstaw Prehnite mixed wtih Byssolite. Numerous acicular dark blackish green Actinolite crystals make up good coverage over the specimen. No other collecting is likely to ever occur again. ex Rick Haefer collection.
