Rare large specimen from Classic Pennsylvania locality which is now a water filled quarry hole. This was collected over 50 years again from a classic Alpine Cleft fomation typical in the formation of the Alps in Europe but in Pennsylvania. A large mat of acicular and wispy Byssolite with a minor amount but good variety of other small crystals within the Byssolite. A small group of Clinozoisite, a few partially hidden Adularia white crystals, small individual white jackstraw Prehnite, and some dark green individual crystals of dark green Actinolite are within the massive overwelming mat of Byssolite. No other collecting is likely to ever occur again. ex Rick Haefer collection.
