 | Here is a large specimen of Magnetite from Utah. It is unique in that the crystals are twinned and look to be in rows or in chains of crystals. I never seen this form previously and it is also a very large specimen from the locality. There is damage of some of the crystal tops scattered throughout the top. Not new damage but there when it was collected. Label from Vantage Gems, a Salt Lake Rockshop that has been closed for 10 to 15 years. Dennis probably bought it directly from that rockshop. ex Dennis McMurdie collection. |
