I believe the label may be glued to the box and then a thick protective rubbery tape attached over the label. I do not know how old but it is written in in rather than pen. One label is typed on an old typewriter. These are Molybdenum specimens from Colorado. Here are two miniatures with Molybdenite on Quartz. |
