13hhrkr  ((COPPER)), $5 MINIMUM BID, unknow locality, 8 x 5 x 4 cm, Cabinet,

Here is a Copper specimen that has a coating of a secondary Copper species or the Copper has oxidized. It is from the small local collection of Rob Katelic's dad. Unfortunately he did not label very well and most not at all. The Copper looks like it is on Quartzite which is consistant with the Bingham Open Pit Copper Mine in Salt Lake. But I have not seen any specimens looking like this one and a couple of others with it so I am not certain as to the actual locality. Also analysis has not been do on the blue green coating which I have seen before on certain Copper specimens.
