7hemwl ((FOSSIL CLAM SHELL without CALCITE)), Rucks Pit, Fort Drum, Okeechobee County, Florida, 8 x 8 x 7 cm, Cabinet,

A pleistocene fossil clam shell species Mercenaria permagna. There is a shell on the front side and a smaller shell on the backside. The front is the largest specimen I have seen . When two valves, they are usually filled with honey colored Calcite crystals. This is more of a fossil specimen however in the back center of the large shell it looks like there are Calcite crystals.
